Sauna Mazie Oši
Great recreation possibility by relaxing your body and mind in sauna.
Our log sauna is situated in property “Mazie Oši”. It sits at the very coast of the lake Inesis.
There is a table and benches on the outside terrace from where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the lake Inesis and breathe fresh air.
The lake will delight both small and big water enthusiasts, because coastal waters are shallow, and one must go rather far to reach a place where it is too deep to feel the bottom. There is a private swimming place at the sauna.
The lake Inesis has a lot of fish – here you’d find a sander, tench, silver bream, perch, crucian carp, pike, bronze bream, roach, rudd, whitefish, burbot, eel and also ruff. This lake welcomes fishermen from all Latvia both during summer and winter. We offer to rent a rowing boat.
Territory has a place for fire where one can cook food on flame (we provide firewood, pot and ladle free of charge), and it is also a wonderful place for grilling sausages and spending time with family or friends in evenings, singing, storytelling or simply gazing in the cracking firewood entwined by flames.
The ground floor has a sauna room with metal heater and stones, small lounge and also shower and WC. The first floor of the building is one room with two pull-out sofas and three separate sleeping places, accommodating at least 7 persons.
For your well-being we offer honey carefully sourced by the local bee-keeper here in Piebalga, its for pampering your body.
Honey is one of products that does not deteriorate and, if stored properly, its expiry date is years away. It contains many essential vitamins, minerals and ferments. Honey speeds up skin regeneration, soothes irritated skin and keeps it beautiful, reduces signs of premature ageing. When applying high quality honey in sauna, it makes skin silky smooth and supple.
